Overview:

Third Iron is seeking a Sales Representative to join our team in selling Third Iron’s innovative software solutions to libraries at health systems, hospitals and medical centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing innovative technology solutions to support the healthcare industry. This role is critical in building our customer base and driving revenue growth through strategic sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Identify and Prospect New Clients:
Research, identify, and target potential health systems, hospital and medical center libraries that could benefit from Third Iron products and solutions.  Sell additional new Third Iron products to existing health and medical library customers.
•  Build and Maintain Client Relationships:
Develop and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare libraries, including librarians, IT managers, and medical administrators.
•  Product Demonstrations and Presentations:
Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of Third Iron solutions, tailored to the specific needs of healthcare libraries.
•  Sales Strategy and Planning:
Collaborate with the VP Sales to develop and execute sales strategies, including meeting sales targets and managing the sales pipeline.
•  Negotiate and Close Deals:
Lead negotiations, manage contract discussions, and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
•  Customer Support:
Liaise with Outreach team to provide ongoing support to clients post-sale, ensuring successful implementation.  Manage subscription renewals including contacting individual accounts when necessary.
•  Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market dynamics to effectively position Third Iron solutions in the marketplace.
•  Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system. Report activity via regular 1:1 meetings with VP Sales.  Provide forecast information as requested.

Qualifications:

•  Education:
Bachelor’s degree
•  Experience:
      •   Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the healthcare, information technology, or software sectors.
      •   Experience selling to libraries, healthcare institutions, or medical centers is highly desirable.
•  Skills:
      •   Strong communication and presentation skills.
      •   Ability to understand and communicate complex software solutions.
      •   Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
      •   Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      •   Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
•  Personal Attributes:
      •   Highly motivated and goal-oriented.
      •   Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
      •   Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
